Damon D. Edwards - Photography
Photography. It's what someone else wants you to see. It goes beyond taking a camera and pointing the lens at something, it's what the final results yield. The work of a photographer is not to simply show you a place, but take you there. Move you. It's allowing you, the viewer, a glimpse inside the photographers mind. Inside their soul. The photograph itself, capturing life in permanence, is in a sense, a part of that person- forever indelible.
I have a passion for photography. The things I enjoy are the details that are found within things that others might not see. I travel to places not often seen by the masses. I admire simplicity and I revere the complexities of life. For me, the joy not only lies within taking the photographs themselves, but the work afterwards and presenting that work to you, the viewer. The photographs I take are the purest parts of me and what you see here are the parts of my life that I want to share with the world. I hope that you'll find enjoyment in these photographs, as they are what I consider to be "Life, from my perspective.".
