Partnering with Non-Profits
Front Street Gallery is committed to supporting local non-profit groups such as Point No Point Lighthouse Foundation, West Sound Wildlife Shelter, Bras for a Cause and Bainbridge Island Special Needs Art Program. We bring art to the commmunity through our joint project with the Jewel Box Theatre in downtown Poulsbo. Our artists hang shows in the theatre lobby and donate 5% of sales commissions to the Jewel Box Theatre. Slug Hunt and Auction
3rd Saturday in August
Front Street Gallery artists decorate ceramic slugs to hide for the annual Kingston Slug Hunt and auction off a selection of special slugs to benefit our scholarship program.
Last year the gallery awarded a $1500 scholarship to a local art student headed to college. The scholarship is open to all students of the North Kitsap area arts programs and the deadline for entry is February 14, 2012. The winning student will hang their artwork in the gallery as featured artist for April 2012
