KASS Student Show
This year we have 3 winners of the Kitsap Artists Slug Scholarship totalling $3000 going to these high school students headed off to college.
Their artwork was on display for the month of April with the opening reception on Saturday April 13 as part of the Poulsbo Second Saturday Art Walk.
On view will be paintings by 1st place Kingston High School student Riley Butler, wooden clocks and light boxes by 2nd place Central Kitsap High student Kaitlyn Duarte and funky ceramics by Cailyn Crossland of Kingston High who received 3rd place.
The plain, undecorated, "naked" slugs will be available soon to students and artists alike to decorate for the Slug Hunt and Auction so come in and sign up.

Local artists and merchants join the Kitsap Artists' Slug Scholarship (KASS) group to decorate ceramic slugs for the annual Kingston Slug Hunt and auction.
