My artwork explores color, texture and the physica movement of the medium - whether it is painting, clay or printmaking. My work is predominantly process oriented; fluid brushstrokes, line work, and intentional placement of abstract shapes are used to express my thoughts. I am continually inspired by the natural world and it’s colors and patterns. Many of my 2D and wearable art pieces contain multiple, hidden abstractions of family and social structure woven throughout. I have found the use of colorful, water-based mediums to be most fulfilling in my creative process.
