Erica Applewhite is a block print artist and teacher working with soft cut, a more flexible material than traditional linoleum and wood. She prints by hand and often finishes her pieces with watercolor or colored pencil. Her subject matter ranges from nature and animals to whimsical objects and ideas. Erica has a B.A. in studio art with an emphasis in printmaking from Occidental College.
