John’s design and turning skills make these bowls stand out from others.  Eileen’s use of an intense finishing process with a high quality and food-safe beeswax polish enhances grain detail and texture and gives each piece a silky feel.  Their work transforms forgotten timber into functional art, honoring the life of each tree.  They also create commissioned pieces including using a customer’s wood from their own property if a more personalized bowl or platter with greater sentimental value is desired.
