My process usually begins with research. I love to learn new techniques & styles of beading. When looking for inspiration I look to nature. I love to spend time in the great outdoors. Pulling colors, shapes and patterns from everything I see. Once I have an idea of what I want to make, I then decide what my color palette will be. Next I will create a pattern and make any adjustments prior to working up a sample. I work mostly with 11/0 or 15/0 seed beads. I will hand stitch each beed in place with a very fine needle and thread specifically made for beading. Making jewelry has been a life long passion and I’m always looking for my next project.
